Job summary

DCOH, a Darwin-based construction and development company, seeks a Project Coordinator to support delivery of design, procurement, programme, documentation and site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately, on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Teritary qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 2 years' experience in project coordination or site coordination in construction.
• Knowledge of construction methods, sequencing and on-site delivery.
• Ability to read design drawings, specifications and technical reports.
• Familiarity with Australian Standards and NCC/BCA requirements.
• Strong planning, coordination and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office, PM software and document control systems.
• Able to work in fast-paced, site-based environments and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report progress of design and construction activities against programme milestones.
• Coordinate site works, subcontractors, materials and project resources.
• Assist with resolution of design queries and management of RFIs, drawings and technical documentation.
• Review drawings for accuracy, sequencing and buildability; identify coordination issues.
• Coordinate procurement activities, subcontractor submissions and tender documentation.
• Track lead times, deliveries and project information to support programme outcomes.
• Support compliance with HSEQ systems, WHS legislation and quality management requirements.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, certifications and collection of as-built documentation.
• Maintain project registers, document control systems, meeting actions and reporting requirements.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, authorities and internal teams to support delivery.
• Monitor compliance with Australian Standards, NCC/BCA requirements and project specs.
• Identify and escalate programme, procurement, quality and technical risks to the Project Manager.
• Support project administration including progress reporting, submissions and authority compliance.
• Contribute to a collaborative team culture and maintain stakeholder relationships.
