Job summary

DCOH is seeking a Design Coordinator to manage design documentation across the full project lifecycle on Darwin-based projects. You will work closely with the Design Manager, consultants and subcontractors to ensure content is accurate, compliant and delivered on schedule.

The role requires tertiary qualifications in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management and 3–5 years in design coordination. Proficiency with Aconex, Revizto or Bluebeam is preferred.

Qualifications

• Three to five years’ experience in a design coordination or project documentation role within the construction industry.
• Tertiary qualification in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Strong ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Experience coordinating consultant deliverables, design documentation and approval processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the development and issue of design documentation in accordance with project timelines.
• Review design drawings for consistency, buildability and compliance with project requirements.
• Facilitate the resolution of design queries, RFIs and drawing conflicts with the Design Manager.
• Support the management of authority and regulatory approvals, including permits and registrations.
• Lead and minute design workshops and coordination sessions.
• Maintain accurate records of design drawings, specifications and issued revisions.
