Job summary

DCOH is seeking a Darwin-based Design Coordinator to support the coordination, review and delivery of design documentation across the project lifecycle. You will work with the Design Manager, consultants and project teams to ensure information is accurate, compliant, buildable and delivered on programme.

Ideal candidates have tertiary qualifications in architecture/engineering/construction management and 3–5 years’ experience coordinating design documentation, with strong knowledge of Australian

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• 3–5 years’ experience in design coordination or project documentation role within the construction industry.
• Sound understanding of construction processes, sequencing and key technical trades.
• Working knowledge of the Building Code of Australia, National Construction Code and relevant Australian Standards.
• Strong ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Experience coordinating consultant deliverables, design documentation and approval processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the development and issue of design documentation in line with project timelines and registers.
• Review design drawings for consistency, buildability and compliance with requirements.
• Facilitate resolution of design queries, RFIs and drawing conflicts with the Design Manager.
• Support approvals, including preparing and monitoring permits.
• Lead design workshops and coordination sessions with consultants.
