New Era Technology is seeking a Solutions Specialist, Cybersecurity to ensure continuity of Cyber Security services and oversee design, delivery, and operations across APAC. You will collaborate with Solutions Group and engineering teams to meet SLAs and drive security initiatives.

The role requires 5+ years in enterprise cybersecurity, cloud security certification, and experience with major frameworks. Hybrid work options, strong mentoring, and cross-team collaboration are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years enterprise cyber security experience.
• At least one major cloud security certification (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Cyber security certification desirable (e.g. CISM, CRISC).
• Experience with Australian government frameworks like Essential Eight and other frameworks (NIST, SMB1001).
• Experience with leading vendors (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Microsoft).
• Exposure to solutions architecture and pre-sales activities is desirable.
• Experience in cyber security team with strong networking and hands-on infrastructure support.

Responsibilities

• Act as Cyber Security champion, driving awareness, monitoring, and training.
• Design, review, and support secure solutions with Solutions Group, Pre-sales and engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with cyber security frameworks and support audits/certifications.
• Lead security incident response, threat hunting, vulnerability assessments, and root cause analysis.
• Provide senior technical escalation for design, operations, projects and APAC/client support.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to client security strategy and risk assessments.
• Develop and maintain technical designs, procedures, documentation, and drive automation.
