Hitech Asia Pacific is seeking a Lead Cyber Operations Security Expert to support a Federal Government agency on an initial 18 month contract with extension options. The role offers rewarding hourly rates and hybrid working arrangements.

You will oversee proactive monitoring, incident response, and security investigations across AWS and Azure environments. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in IT or cybersecurity, with senior-level experience in management or architecture, and hands-on leadership

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 7 years in IT or cybersecurity.
• Direct experience leading high severity cyber investigations, threat hunting, & crisis management.
• Deep, multi-domain experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure).

Aufgaben

• Lead proactive monitoring, investigation, and mitigation of security incidents using Sentinel, Defender 365, Azure Security Center, and Splunk.
• Analyse security event data to identify suspicious activity across networks and systems.
• Lead incident response, investigations, computer forensics, and chain-of-custody considerations.
