Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to drive qualified opportunities for the ANZ sales team. Based in Sydney, you will engage in inbound and outbound activities, nurture leads, and connect influencers and decision makers within target accounts.

You will collaborate with marketing and account management to execute account-based strategies, track activity in Salesforce, and schedule product demonstrations for the sales team.

Qualifications

At least 3 years of business development experience in technology, ideally cybersecurity.
Experience developing new relationships via cold-calling and email prospecting.
Goal-driven performer with strong motivation and attention to detail.
Experience with cloud-based solutions is a plus.
Experience with Salesforce.com, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus.

Responsibilities

Qualify and develop inbound and outbound sales accepted leads and respond to product inquiries.
Engage prospects through research, conversations and outreach to generate new opportunities.
Collaborate with sales and marketing, define an account-based strategy for ANZ.
Schedule demonstrations between Sales and potential customers.
Track communications in Salesforce.com.
