Job summary

seek.com.au is seeking an Information Security Analyst to join the team in Melbourne on a full-time basis. The role is highly technical, with 80% of time spent on security tools and configurations, and requires prior IT engineering or support experience.

The position emphasizes customer service and collaboration with internal teams. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure, with additional exposure to AWS and Google Cloud, plus EDR and SIEM tooling.

Qualifications

• Experience with cyber security concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure; AWS and Google Cloud is advantageous.
• Some hands-on experience with EDR and SIEM tooling.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assisting cybersecurity program assessments utilising recognised industry frameworks.
• Scoping, planning and implementing uplift programmes within customer environments to support cyber security goals.
• Assisting customers with Security Incidents.
• Deploying, managing and troubleshooting IT and IT Security related Controls and Applications.
• Assisting customers with the configuration of their security controls.
• Assisting with Response and Recovery Plan, Playbook writing and review.
• Assisting with evaluating cybersecurity risk profiles in relation to technical conditions and business significance.
• Analysing security risks, developing effective treatments.
• Articulating risks and recommended treatments to business stakeholders.
• Involvement in internal projects to help innovate security engineering.
• Supporting Security Consulting and Penetration Testing teams where required.
