Job summary

Avanade Australia is seeking a cloud security support engineer to join our Managed Services team, delivering secure Azure platform support and aligned with ISM, NIST CSF2.0 and Essential 8 ML2 frameworks. You will help defend complex ICT environments and coordinate incident response while communicating clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience in Azure security tooling, Defender suite, and governance frameworks is required, with familiarity in Threat Hunting,

Qualifications

• Cloud security engineer with experience supporting complex ICT environments.
• Experience with Australian Government information assurance requirements (ISM, NIST CSF2.0, Essential 8 ML2).
• Strong communication skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with threat intelligence and emerging cybersecurity trends.
