Job summary

Adecco is seeking a B5 Cloud Security Analyst to join a high-performing cyber security function protecting AWS and Azure environments in Sydney. The role emphasizes threat investigation, security event analysis, and cloud security engineering in a large-scale enterprise.

You will monitor logs with Splunk and Azure Log Analytics, triage threats, coordinate with incident response and threat intel teams, participate in on-call rotations, and contribute to improving security processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Cyber Security or related field.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM are valued.
• Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS/Azure) and incident response.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and investigate cloud security events across AWS and Azure.
• Triage and respond to cloud security alerts and incidents.
• Utilise Splunk and Azure Log Analytics for investigations.
• Detect, assess and report cloud vulnerabilities and risks.
• Collaborate with incident response, threat intelligence, and vulnerability teams.
• Maintain and improve security monitoring processes and documentation.
