Job summary

Baidam Pty Ltd is seeking a Cyber Security Pre-Sales Engineer in Perth to support the sales process with expert guidance on cybersecurity solutions, focusing on Baidam’s services and partner technologies.

Reporting to the CRO, you will collaborate with Sales, Professional Services and Managed Services to design and communicate tailored cyber solutions, driving growth and client trust.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in cybersecurity engineering.
• Experience developing and presenting enterprise-level cyber solutions.
• Familiarity with current Australian regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of enterprise sales cycles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Independent and collaborative working style with ability to prioritise multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain contacts and relationships with clients to help generate pipeline.
• Respond to RFPs and RFIs with clear, concise and solution-oriented documentation.
• Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and PoCs for key vendors and technology partners.
• Recommend appropriate technologies and solutions in line with Baidam's vendor ecosystem.
• Lead technical discovery sessions and facilitate security workshops.
• Engage in solution scoping and planning with delivery teams.
• Address technical objections and mitigate risks throughout the sales cycle.
• Provide internal advice and support to sales team on vendor and solution updates.
