Job summary

Department of Government Services – Melbourne is seeking a Cyber Security Officer to support the Cyber Services Branch in delivering and improving WoVG cyber security services. You will assist with monitoring, vulnerability management, automation and stakeholder support, contributing to secure digital services across Victoria.

The role requires technical capability, learning agility and the ability to obtain NEGATIVE VETTING 1 clearance within 12 months.

Qualifications

• NEGATIVE VETTING 1 clearance within 12 months of commencing employment.
• Australian citizen or eligible to work in Australia.
• Pre-employment screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support cyber security operations by monitoring alerts, dashboards and service requests.
• Assist with vulnerability management and attack surface management activities.
