Job summary

Resolve Recruit is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Architect to provide technical and strategic architecture leadership across a Federal Government agency's core cyber security platforms and services. This Canberra-based role focuses on design, integration, uplift and ongoing technical coherence of security monitoring, identity, endpoint, cloud, emerging tech and secure internet access capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and uplifting cyber security technologies in complex enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of ISM, PSPF, Essential Eight and ASD guidance.
• Experience with SIEM architectures and Defender suites.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain architecture for enterprise security monitoring, including SIEM and cloud telemetry.
• Provide architecture leadership for Defender for Endpoint, Purview and Defender for Identity.
• Lead cyber security architecture reviews across infrastructure, identity, endpoint, network, cloud, SaaS and data initiatives.
• Produce high-level and detailed designs, integration diagrams, security patterns and architecture decision records.
• Develop target architectures and technical roadmaps for the uplift of security platforms.
• Apply the ASD guidance to technical architecture and design decisions.

Resolve Recruit is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Architect to provide technical and strategic architecture leadership across a Federal Government agency's core cyber security platforms and services. This role focuses on the design, integration, uplift and ongoing technical coherence of security monitoring, identity, endpoint, cloud, emerging technology and secure internet access capabilities.

You will work primarily within Cyber Security, partnering with Cloud Infrastructure, Network Infrastructure, End User Computing, enterprise architecture and project teams. You'll need a deep understanding of complex enterprise environments, the ability to translate architecture into implemented, supportable outcomes, and the confidence to challenge generic or vendor-led proposals in favour of practical, environment-specific designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and maintain the architecture for enterprise security monitoring, including SIEM, Windows Event Collection and cloud telemetry
• Provide architecture leadership for Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Purview and Defender for Identity
• Lead cyber security architecture reviews across infrastructure, identity, endpoint, network, cloud, SaaS and data initiatives
• Produce high-level and detailed designs, integration diagrams, security patterns and architecture decision records
• Develop target architectures and technical roadmaps for the rationalisation or uplift of security platforms
• Apply the ISM, PSPF, Essential Eight and ASD guidance to technical architecture and design decisions

Key Experience and Skills:

• Designing, integrating and uplifting cyber security technologies across complex enterprise environments
• SIEM architecture, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Defender for Identity, including sensor design and telemetry coverage
• Rapid7, Windows Event Collection or equivalent technologies highly desirable
• Strong working knowledge of the ISM, PSPF, Essential Eight and relevant ASD guidance
