Job summary

Manningham Council is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to protect and strengthen its technology environment in Doncaster, Victoria. You will deliver secure cyber security and infrastructure services, monitor threats, and support incident response while advising stakeholders across the organisation.

You will lead, collaborate and drive security improvements in a dynamic local government setting, delivering reliable and resilient technology services to the community.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in a senior cyber security, infrastructure, or technology leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of cyber security technologies, risk management practices and Microsoft security platforms.
• Proven, high-level experience in delivering complex security solutions and promoting best practice in a corporate environment.
• Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and provide trusted advice across all levels of an organisation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes in a complex environment.
• A collaborative, proactive and customer-focused professional who demonstrates initiative, continuous improvement and a commitment to Council values and a safe, inclusive workplace

About the role

As a
Cybersecurity Analyst, you will help protect and strengthen Council's
technology environment by delivering secure and resilient cyber security and
infrastructure services. You will monitor and respond to cyber threats,
implement security controls, support incident response and business continuity
activities, and provide expert advice to stakeholders across the organisation.
Working in a collaborative environment, you will play a key role in enhancing
Council's cyber resilience, promoting security awareness and supporting the
delivery of reliable and secure technology services.

You will bring:
