Job summary

Manningham Council in Doncaster, Victoria, is seeking a GIS & Spatial Systems Specialist to lead GIS, 3D visualisation, and spatial technology initiatives. Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Geospatial Science, Geomatic Engineering, Land Information or related discipline.
• Experience managing and supporting GIS environments, including ESRI technologies and 3D visualisation/modelling solutions.
• Proficiency with Weave, NearMap, TerraExplorer, ArcGIS/ArcMap/ArcGIS Server/ArcPad/ArcGIS Online; ERDAS Apollo; Lumion.
• Knowledge of the asset management industry.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills with diverse audiences.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, work collaboratively and contribute to strategic projects.

• Salary $113K
  to $127K plus 12% Superannuation
• GIS and
  3D Modelling Focus
• Based at Doncaster, Victoria (with ability to
  work remotely)

maintain and support components of our Geographic Information System (GIS) and
continue the 3D Visualisation/Modelling in relation to planning applications
and specific council activities within our local government area.

About the role

As the GIS & Spatial Systems Specialist, you
will lead the development, support and continuous improvement of Council's GIS,
3D visualisation and spatial technology platforms. Working closely with
stakeholders across the organisation, you will deliver innovative spatial
solutions, provide expert advice and ensure the effective use of spatial data
and technology to support strategic planning, service delivery and informed
decision-making.

outcomes for the organisation and community.

Skills and experience

• Tertiary qualification in Geospatial Science, Geomatic
  Engineering, Land Information or related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience managing and supporting GIS
  environments, including ESRI technologies and 3D visualisation/modelling
  solutions.
• Technical experience in using the following products:
  Weave; NearMap; TerraExplorer; ArcGIS/ArcMap/ArcGIS Server/ArcPad/ArcGIS
  Online; ERDAS Apollo; Lumion
• Knowledge and experience in the asset management industry.
• Well-developed
  stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to provide
  specialist advice and build productive relationships across a diverse range of
  audiences.
• Demonstrated
  ability to manage competing priorities, work collaboratively, and contribute to
  strategic projects and organisational outcomes.
