Job summary

Hydrogen Group in Sydney is seeking an experienced Cyber Project Manager to deliver cyber security transformation initiatives on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will oversee end-to-end delivery across cyber programmes, collaborating with SMEs, security teams and vendors to ensure programmes meet scope and timelines.

Key focus areas include Zero Trust and network/perimeter security, data protection and DLP, with senior stakeholder engagement across Technology and the wider business.

Qualifications

• Strong experience delivering cyber security projects or transformation programmes.
• Hands-on delivery across Zero Trust, firewalls and/or network/perimeter security.
• Experience across DLP, data protection or information security.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience managing multiple workstreams, vendors, risks, dependencies and delivery timelines.
• Ability to operate autonomously in a complex enterprise environment.

We're looking for an experienced Cyber Project Manager to join a leading organisation on a 12-month fixed-term contract, delivering key cyber security transformation initiatives across the business.

This is a great opportunity for a strong Cyber PM who can work across both technical cyber programmes and senior stakeholder groups, with particular experience across network/perimeter security and data protection.

About the role

You'll be responsible for managing end-to-end delivery of cyber security projects, working closely with technical SMEs, security teams, vendors and senior stakeholders to ensure programmes are delivered on time and to scope.

Key areas of focus will include:

• Network & Perimeter Security - Zero Trust, firewalls, network security and related security uplift initiatives
• Data Protection & Security - Data Loss Prevention (DLP), data protection, information protection and data classification
• Managing project plans, budgets, risks, dependencies and delivery milestones
• Coordinating technical workstreams and third-party vendors
• Working with senior stakeholders across Technology, Cyber and the wider business
• Supporting broader cyber security uplift and transformation initiatives

About you

We're looking for a proven Cyber Project Manager / Cyber Programme Manager with:

• Strong experience delivering cyber security projects or transformation programmes
• Hands-on project delivery experience across Zero Trust, firewalls and/or network/perimeter security
• Experience across DLP, data protection or information security
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience managing multiple workstreams, vendors, risks, dependencies and delivery timelines
• The ability to operate autonomously in a complex enterprise environment
