Job summary

BDO is seeking a Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager in Risk Advisory Services (Cyber GRC) in Melbourne. You will support the Partners in developing IT risk advisory engagements, manage client matters, mentor staff and drive delivery excellence across cyber governance, risk and control frameworks.

You will work on projects spanning governance, privacy, business continuity, third-party risk and regulatory alignment, with opportunities to shape offerings and grow the practice.

Qualifications

• Experience in Cyber Security Governance Risk and Compliance including framework reviews.
• Proven ability to manage IT risk across multiple industry sectors.
• Ability to present to Senior Management, Boards and ARCs.
• Experience in business continuity assessment and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building and mentoring an IT Risk Advisory & Consulting team of highly skilled internal
• Manage a varied portfolio of clients across a range of industry sectors, with a focus on IT risk
• Supervise and undertake fieldwork and prepare high-quality reports or deliverables
• Understand and apply the firm's delivery standards to provide high-quality client service
• Assist in developing new business solutions / service offerings
• Drive continuous improvement of current practice processes, tools and
• Coach and mentor junior members of the team
• Drive growth initiatives and business development with Partners / senior management and other service lines across the broader BDO team
