Job summary

Delta Electricity seeks an experienced Cyber Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Manager to lead our cyber governance, risk and compliance function across the organisation. You will shape our security strategy, partnering with business leaders to embed resilient cyber controls and regulatory readiness.

This role reports to the Head of Technology, involves managing SOCI, CIRMP and Essential Eight compliance, leading incident response and a high-performing team, with weekly travel between Sydney

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in cyber security governance, risk and compliance within regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of cyber risk management, frameworks and assurance practices.
• Experience with SOCI, CIRMP, Essential Eight and broader regulatory requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and ability to influence at all levels of the business.
• Proven leadership of teams and delivery of organisational change.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC or ISO 27001.

Cyber Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Manager

Office Location: Sydney CBD or Vales Point Power Station (weekly travel required between sites)

What you'll do

Reporting to the Head of Technology, you'll:

• Lead Delta's Cyber Security Strategy, governance framework and security roadmap.

• Ensure compliance with critical infrastructure obligations, including SOCI, CIRMP and cyber incident reporting requirements.

What you'll bring:

We're looking for a collaborative and commercially minded cyber security leader who can balance strategy, governance and practical delivery. You'll bring:

• Extensive experience in cyber security governance, risk and compliance within a complex or highly regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of cyber risk management, security frameworks and assurance practices.
• Experience with SOCI, CIRMP, Essential Eight and broader regulatory compliance requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships across all levels of the business.
• Experience leading teams and driving organisational change.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC or ISO 27001.
• Experience within energy, utilities, critical infrastructure or similar industries will be highly regarded.
