Job summary

ASG Administration in the Gold Coast region is seeking a Customer Support & Administration Officer – Automotive to manage motor vehicle insurance claims from allocation through to completion and coordinate assessments and repairs.

You will communicate with insurers, assessors, repairers and suppliers, maintain claim notes, process parts orders and invoicing, and provide general administrative support during the busy hail season.

Qualifications

  • Experience in automotive, collision repair or insurance repair industry.
  • Experience managing motor vehicle insurance claims.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience communicating with insurers, assessors, suppliers and customers.
  • Understanding of automotive parts processing and invoicing.
  • Strong administration and organisational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple claims and competing priorities.
  • Confidence using repair management systems, insurer portals and MS Office.
  • Proactive approach and willingness to assist wherever required.

Responsibilities

  • Managing insurance claims from allocation through to completion.
  • Contacting customers and coordinating assessments and repairs.
  • Communicating with insurers, assessors, repairers and suppliers.
  • Monitoring approvals and following up outstanding information.
  • Maintaining accurate claim notes and documentation.
  • Processing parts orders, supplier invoices and related paperwork.
  • Reviewing completed jobs to ensure all information is received.
  • Preparing and processing accurate customer and insurer invoices.
  • Responding to customer and insurer enquiries.
  • Identifying delayed or inactive claims and progressing them.
  • Providing general administrative and operational support across the business.
  • Assisting the wider team during the busy hail season.

Customer Support & Administration Officer – Automotive

This is a great opportunity for someone with automotive industry experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is ready to join us as we head into a busy period of the year.

We are looking for a capable all-rounder who has excellent customer service experience, can manage insurance claims from end to end, communicate confidently with insurers, assist with parts processing and ensure jobs are accurately invoiced and completed.

With hail season approaching, we are looking for someone eager to join our team, learn our processes and help us deliver a high level of service during one of our busiest periods.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
  • Previous experience in the automotive, collision repair or insurance repair industry
  • Experience managing motor vehicle insurance claims
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Experience communicating with insurers, assessors, suppliers and customers
  • An understanding of automotive parts processing and invoicing
  • Strong administration and organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • The ability to manage multiple claims and competing priorities
  • Confidence using repair management systems, insurer portals and Microsoft Office
  • A proactive approach and willingness to assist wherever required
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Most importantly, you will be an adaptable and motivated all-rounder who takes ownership of their work and follows claims through to completion.
