Responsibilities

The Opportunity

Our Cavan branch is seeking a driven and customer-focused sales professional to join our high-performing team as a Customer Support Representative. In this role, you will promote our market‑leading products and services across the premium Hitachi and Bell product range, while building strong, long‑term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Establishing and maintaining strong, professional relationships with customers
• Undertaking machine inspections to check for damaged or worn componentry
• Promoting Hitachi’s parts and service solutions to achieve budgeted sales targets
• Identifying opportunities for business growth and developing strategies to increase parts and service sales
• Efficiently managing and expanding a portfolio of existing and prospective customers
• Operating within a customer call cycle and preparing tailored parts and service quotations
• Ensuring all customer and internal stakeholder interactions are conducted professionally and followed up in a timely manner

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Previous sales experience (desirable but not essential)
• Proven mechanical and technical understanding of earthmoving and construction equipment
• A relevant mechanical or electrical trade qualification would be highly regarded
