Job summary

Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia is seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our Service team as a Field Service Fitter based out of our Cavan branch. You will provide diagnostics, repair and maintenance services to customers in the field, reporting to the Field Service Supervisor.

Key responsibilities include onsite technical support, building strong customer relationships, completing paperwork, and maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent discipline (Diesel Mechanic).
• Current driver’s license.
• Ability to work autonomously and proactively solve technical issues.
• OEM or earthmoving equipment experience is highly regarded.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and customer service etiquette.
• Uncompromising commitment to quality workmanship and safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our Service team as a Field Service Fitter based out of our Cavan branch.
