Grand River Personnel is assisting Cambridge-based operations in finding a Customer Service Representative for a full-time permanent role. The successful candidate will handle order entry for large box stores, ensure stock availability, and coordinate pick/ship activities to meet delivery deadlines.

Ideal applicants have 2–3 years in customer service within manufacturing, strong SAP and EDI experience, and advanced Excel skills.

On behalf of our client in Cambridge, we are looking for a Customer Service Rep for this full-time permanent role!

The ideal candidate will have experience with order entry and working with large customers like Home Depot, Walmart, Rona and Amazon!

This role will work closely with business customers and the team, to deliver professional customer service, accurate order entry and to ensure overall customer expectations are met! As the Customer Service Rep you will manage the entire process of receiving orders, ensuring products are in stock, that orders get picked and shipped in a timely fashion and that any issues are dealt with as they arise to ensure prompt delivery!

Required Skills:

• College diploma or university degree in Business Administration, International Business, or a related field preferred.
• 2-3 years of customer service experience in a manufacturing environment working with large box store companies.
• Proficiency in SAP for sales order processing, customer data and order management is a MUST.
• Experience with EDI order processes and working in customer order management portals such as Home Depot is REQUIRED
• Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, Power Query, formulas, data validation, and dashboards.
• Strong understanding of order fulfillment, warehousing, transportation, and delivery coordination in order to track orders to delivery.
• Ability to manage customer discounts, returns, chargebacks, account reconciliations and handle order disputes professionally.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment .
• Collaborative team player who can work independently and effectively across functions.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail.
