Bendigo Bank in Bunyip (VIC) is hiring two permanent, full-time Customer Service Officers to join our Community Bank branch. You’ll handle transactions, assist customers with online banking, and advise on suitable products while integrating risk considerations into every interaction.

You’ll be empowered to build local relationships, support financial goals, and participate in ongoing training and development to advance your career within a community-focused banking model.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service environment and the ability to achieve targets.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure secure, accurate transactions with a risk mindset.
• Confidence to communicate with new and existing customers face to face and over the phone.
• Experience in the banking and finance industry is a plus but not essential.

Responsabilités

• Explore customers' needs through in-depth conversations to help them achieve their financial goals and partner with different specialists within the branch.
• Support customers with their digital literacy and online banking needs as offerings evolve.
• Be the face of the branch and customer service, handling transactions, cash, queries or paperwork with risk awareness.
• Embrace an attitude of lifelong learning with on-the-job training and external development opportunities.
• Build connections and contribute to local community initiatives through the Community Bank model.
