Job summary

AGnVET Services Group, Darling Irrigation division, is seeking a Casual Customer Service Officer in Dubbo to blend frontline service with inventory control.

You will manage stock, assist customers, process orders, and support branch operations while upholding safety standards.

This casual role offers minimum 2 days per week with flexible arrangements and opportunities within a leading agribusiness network.

Qualifications

• Cert III in Retail or equivalent with retail/warehouse experience
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Organised with ability to prioritise workload and maintain accuracy
• Basic MS Office and experience with POS/ERP systems
• Valid driver’s licence

Responsibilities

• Coordinate receiving, checking and storing of goods
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stocktakes
• Manage order fulfilment including picking, packing and transfers
• Process sales, orders and invoices using POS/ERP systems
• Collaborate with the team to optimise stock availability

Casual Customer Service Officer

Are you a motivated all-rounder who enjoys keeping stock in order and building strong relationships with customers? If so, this might be the opportunity for you!

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and proactive individual with strong customer service experience and a passion for inventory accuracy.

You will not only be our first point of contact for our customers, but also the key person in branch responsible for all inventory management, stock flow and warehouse coordination.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating the receiving, checking and storing of incoming goods
• Maintaining accurate inventory records, stock levels and assisting with stocktakes
• Managing order fulfilment, including picking, packing, and organising store transfers
• Processing sales, orders and invoices using point of sale and financial systems
• Working with the branch team to optimise stock availability and movement
• Assisting customers with product enquiries and building strong, ongoing relationships
• Upholding AGnVET’s safety and compliance standards
• Supporting general branch operations where required

This role is casual, offering a minimum of 2 days per week.

About You

Essential:

• Cert III in Retail (or minimum 2 years’ retail or warehouse experience)
• Strong customer service capability with well-developed communication skills
• Proven organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and maintain accuracy
• Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and Outlook) and experience with POS or ERP / Financial
• systems
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team
• Problem solving ability and a proactive, self-starter mindset
• Current valid driver’s licence

Desirable:

• Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience within the agricultural sector
• Previous inventory management or warehouse coordination experience
