Job summary

Lindsay Australia is seeking a proactive customer service professional to join the Derrimut Melbourne Depot. You will be the key link between customers and the operations team, ensuring orders are accurate and freight is coordinated smoothly.

You’ll manage communications, schedule and support high-volume requests in a fast-paced transport and logistics environment, with a focus on service excellence and reliable problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service as part of a busy fast-paced team in transport, warehouse or logistics.
• Polished communications, exceptional service mindset and relationship-building skills.
• Strong MS Office and systems confidence.
• Ability to prioritise high volumes of work in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude with willingness to learn; strong planning and organisational skills.
• Genuine care for internal and external customers.

• The facilitation and management of customer orders and jobs received.
• Liaising with operational staff to ensure all customer requirements are met.
• Managing freight bookings and time slot requests.
• Ad hoc administrative duties as required.

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager and working closely with our customer service and operations teams at the Derrimut Melbourne Depot, you’ll keep customers informed, supported, and confident that their freight is in safe hands. We’re customer service but not call centre, you are the key link between our customer and depots.

What You’ll Do:

• The facilitation and management of customer orders and jobs received
