Job summary

Lindsay Rural Pty Ltd in Innisfail is seeking a reliable Storeperson to support our rural store and local farmers. In this hands-on role you’ll receive and organise stock, prepare customer orders, and help keep the warehouse running smoothly.

You’ll load and unload deliveries, maintain stock accuracy, and assist customers at the front counter. A current forklift licence is highly regarded, and experience in rural or warehouse environments is preferred.

The Role:

Our Innisfail Rural Branch is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Storeperson to join our rural store supporting local farmers and the agricultural community. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for receiving and organising stock, preparing customer orders, loading and unloading deliveries, and helping keep the store and warehouse running smoothly. You’ll work closely with our team to ensure farmers get the supplies they need, when they need them.

What You’ll Do:

• Stock control and receiving of goods
• Stock distribution, storing and preparing for dispatching.
• Load and unload trucks
• Record chemicals as per Lindsay Rural procedures
• Maintain accurate and efficient stock control at all times
• Counter / store front sales and service as required
• General store duties as required
• Providing friendly support to customers and staff

What You’ll Bring:

• Current Forklift Licence highly regarded
• Reliable, practical, and physically fit
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• A positive attitude and team mindset
• Experience in rural, agricultural, or warehouse work is highly desirable
• Have excellent customer service and relationship building skills
• Have a commitment to workplace health and safety
• Ability to work in and around chemical, fertilizer, nutrient and packaging
