Job summary

The Shellharbour Club – Shellharbour Village NSW is seeking a Customer Service Host to greet guests, promote membership, and be the face of the venue. You will work with all areas of the business to ensure smooth operations and assist with licensing/compliance.

Ideal candidates hold RSA/RCG/ARCG, First Aid, and have strong communication skills. Weekend and late-night shifts (up to 4am) are required, with on-site parking and uniforms provided; staff discounts apply and training opportunities are

Qualifications

• Current RSA/RCG/ARCG qualification, or willingness to obtain.
• First Aid certificate, or willingness to obtain.
• Strong understanding of licensing requirements and ability to enforce them when required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work a variety of shifts including weekends and late nights (up to 4am).

The Shellharbour Club – Shellharbour Village NSW

Our vision is to enable the community to reach its highest potential. To deliver on this we are actively looking for the next Customer Service Host/face of our venue to help us on this journey.

You will greet and engage with every person that visits the venue while being an advocate for the business and selling the values of being a member of the Shellharbour Club. You will collaborate with all areas of the business to ensure seamless operations and be responsible for ensuring licensing/compliance requirements are met at all times.

First impressions last forever and as the first point of contact for our 500,000+ visitors who walk through our doors each year, your ability to ‘surprise’ members and guests with your bright and bubbly customer service approach will set you apart from the rest. What we are looking for to be successful in your new role:

• Current RSA, RCG & ARCG qualification, or willing to obtain.
• Current First Aid certificate, or willing to obtain.
• A firm understanding of licensing requirements with respect to the Liquor Act, Responsible Service of Alcohol and Responsible Conduct of Gambling and the ability to enforce them when required.
• Strong written, verbal and communication skills.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends and enjoy working late nights, we trade to 4am.
• Have some mid week availability.
• Enjoy working Saturday and public holidays and receive the higher weekend and public holiday penalty rates.
