Ruakura is seeking a practical, hands-on professional for a full-time role in Traralgon, Gippsland. The position combines customer service, farm deliveries, equipment installation, servicing and maintenance, with training provided.

You will work with dairy farmers, ensuring hygiene systems operate reliably and that equipment remains in good working order. The role suits someone with experience in electrical, plumbing, mechanical or similar hands-on trades.

Qualifications

• MR Licence – required or willingness to obtain one as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Organising weekly delivery runs and delivering products directly to dairy farms.
• Installing, servicing and maintaining dairy equipment.

• Responding to system alerts and troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Basic maintenance and fault finding of installed equipment.

Ruakura is looking for a practical, hands-on and technically minded individual to join our team in Traralgon.

This is a varied role combining customer service, farm deliveries, equipment installation, servicing and maintenance. You will work directly with dairy farmers throughout Gippsland, helping customers maintain effective hygiene systems and ensuring their equipment is operating reliably.

The role is ideally suited to someone with experience in electrical, plumbing, mechanical or similar hands-on trades. A formal trade qualification is not essential — practical ability, problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn are what matter most.

About the Role

Based in Traralgon, you will primarily work throughout Gippsland, driving a company truck on scheduled delivery runs to dairy farms.

Alongside deliveries, you will be responsible for the assembly, installation, servicing and maintenance of a range of electrical and mechanical equipment, including dosing systems, chemical pumps, diaphragm pumps and other fluid-handling equipment.

Previous experience with this type of equipment is advantageous but not essential. Full training and ongoing support will be provided to the right person.

Requirements
