Job summary

Medibank Private Limited is seeking a part-time Local Community Consultant for our Miranda store, with optional Campbelltown coverage. The role is 30 hours per week, hybrid with two days from home.

You will help customers choose health cover, support across in-store, over the phone, online and in the community, and build strong relationships through personalised conversations. Salary is $63,660 pro-rata for part-time hours, plus 12% super and monthly incentives, with a rotating schedule

About the role

We have a part-time hybrid opportunity for a Customer Service and Sales Consultant at our Miranda store. You may also be requested to work at our Campbelltown store to support your wider team. This role is working 30 hours per week with the opportunity to work from home at least 2 days a week. This role includes a flexible rotating roster working Monday to Friday with alternating Saturday work. The working hours rotate between 8am - 8pm and rostered hours after 5pm will be working from home shifts.

Support them across multiple channels - in-store, over the phone, online, and in the community.

Build lasting relationships and trust through personalised conversations.

Solve everyday challenges and share ideas to improve how we work.

Internally referred to as a Local Community Consultant, you will be a part of a geographically based, cross-functional teams, with a shared goal to build stronger community connections, deepen trust, and deliver more personalised support in your area.

What we're looking for

You don't need health insurance experience – we'll teach you that. If you have skills in customer service, sales, health, retail, or community engagement, you could be a great addition to our team.
