Job summary

Medibank in Miranda is seeking a part-time Customer Service and Sales Consultant to connect with customers, help them select health cover and services, and provide support across in-store, phone, online, and community channels.

The role offers 30 hours per week with at least 2 days from home, a rotating Monday‑Friday schedule including Saturdays, and 8am–8pm hours with some after‑5pm home shifts.

Qualifications

• No health insurance experience required; we’ll teach you.
• If you have experience in customer service, sales, health, retail, or community engagement, you could be a great addition.

About the role

We have a part-time hybrid opportunity for a Customer Service and Sales Consultant at our Miranda store. This role is working 30 hours per week with the opportunity to work from home at least 2 days a week. This role includes a flexible rotating roster working Monday to Friday with alternating Saturday work. The working hours rotate between 8am - 8pm and rostered hours after 5pm will be working from home shifts.

As the face of Medibank in your area, you will:

Build lasting relationships and trust through personalised conversations.

Solve everyday challenges and share ideas to improve how we work.

Internally referred to as a Local Community Consultant, you will be a part of a geographically based, cross-functional teams, with a shared goal to build stronger community connections, deepen trust, and deliver more personalised support in your area.

What we're looking for

You don't need health insurance experience - we'll teach you that. If you have skills in customer service, sales, health, retail, or community engagement, you could be a great addition to our team.

Great at building rapport and explaining things clearly.

Comfortable using technology and learning new systems.

A team player who is adaptable and proactive.
