Job summary

Empire Apartment Hotel in Rockhampton welcomes energetic customer service professionals to join our award-winning team. Our properties offer 200 guest rooms from studio to luxury self-contained apartments in the CBD Riverfront precinct.

We provide full-time salaried and casual roles focused on exceptional guest experiences and smooth front-desk operations. You will manage check-ins/check-outs, handle phone, email, online and walk-in reservations, and collaborate with colleagues to exceed guest

Qualifications

• Experience in front-desk and guest service is preferred.
• Must be well presented with a can-do attitude.
• Current Driver's Licence required.
• Shifts include 6.00am–2.00pm or 2.00pm–10.00pm, seven days a week.

Responsibilities

• Exceptional front line customer service including check-ins and check-outs and resolving guest requirements.
• Operating a busy reservation desk with phone, email, online and walk-in reservations.

Our hotels offer a range of corporate accommodation options across 200 guest rooms from Studio Hotel Rooms to stylish modern One, Two and Three Bedroom Self Contained Apartments.

All team members are required to deliver exceptional customer service and have a warm welcoming attitude to all hotel guests. Consistency is paramount and a positive "can-do" attitude and the ability to work under pressure are key skills.

This is an exciting opportunity for a fresh start with both Full Time Salaried and Casual positions available.

These positions involve:

• Exceptional front line customer service including checkins and checkouts and resolving guest requirements
