Job summary

Stone and Ceramic Tile Wholesalers in Smithfield NSW is seeking a Customer Service Administrator to join our busy team. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handle enquiries, process orders, and support sales and warehouse staff to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Answer and manage incoming customer calls, emails, and in-person enquiries
• Process sales orders, quotes, and invoices accurately and promptly
• Liaise with the warehouse and delivery team to coordinate stock availability and dispatch
• Maintain accurate customer and order records in the business system
• Resolve customer queries and complaints in a professional, timely manner
• Provide product and pricing information to customers and trade clients
• Support the sales team with general administrative tasks
• Assist with stock reconciliation and follow-up on backorders as needed

Stone & Ceramic Tile Wholesalers are an established Australian wholesaler, supplying high-end retailers nationwide as well as small‑medium sized retailers. We are exclusive distributors to high-end tile and mosaic brands from Spain and the UAE. As our business continues to grow we're looking for an organised, adaptable and friendly Customer Service Administrator to join our Smithfield team.

About the role

You’ll be the first point of contact for our customers, handling enquiries, processing orders, and supporting our sales and warehouse teams to keep operations running smoothly. This is a hands‑on, varied role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast paced environment and has high attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and manage incoming customer calls, emails, and in-person enquiries
• Process sales orders, quotes, and invoices accurately and promptly
• Liaise with the warehouse and delivery team to coordinate stock availability and dispatch

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a customer service or administration role (experience in building supplies, trade, or wholesale industries highly regarded)
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Confident using computer systems (MS Office; experience with an ERP/CRM or inventory system is a plus)
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
• A friendly, professional phone manner and a team-oriented attitude
• Knowledge of tiles, stone, or building materials is an advantage but not essential
