Job summary

Auto & General is seeking an Assessing Support Officer at our Lidcombe Insurance Assessment Centre. The role focuses on administrative tasks for motor claims, driving efficient assessments and an excellent customer experience on-site.

You will provide guidance to customers, interact with repairers and tow operators, and manage the end-to-end administrative workflow from booking to assessment approval.

Qualifications

• Experience in the Insurance industry with strong customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to influence outcomes.
• Comfort with industry-specific software and ability to learn new systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service following system protocols.
• Maintain proactive communication with customers, repairers and tow operators.
• Advise customers to inform decisions for optimal assessing or resolutions.
• Guide customers to Internal Assessment Centres and repairer network.
• Manage repairer services and administrative activities from booking to assessment
