Job summary

BaptistCare is seeking a Customer Engagement Consultant for a 12-month maximum-term period, covering the South Metro and Peel areas. You will guide prospective customers and families from initial enquiry to closing, offering consultative, non-transactional support and engaging with referral networks.

Key duties include face-to-face engagements, site tours, CRM updates, and collaboration with healthcare partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in solutions based selling focused on customer needs.
• Experience working towards service and sales KPIs.
• Strong understanding of the customer journey and a commitment to customer centred service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport with a broad range of stakeholders.
• Strong time management, analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Polished presentation and public speaking skills.
• A positive, customer-focused approach and a genuine desire to help people.
• The ability to work effectively across multiple customers and locations.
• A sound understanding of Refundable Accommodation Deposits (RADs), Daily Accommodation Payments (DAPs) and low means conversations.
• Experience within aged care, health or allied health services, knowledge of consumer-directed care, and previous CRM experience will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Building genuine relationships with prospective customers, families and key decision-makers.
• Managing the customer journey from enquiry through to closing the sale.
• Meeting customers within residential facilities and, where required, in their homes to explain services, agreements, fees and available supports.
• Arranging and conducting site tours and helping ensure our facilities are ready to welcome prospective customers.
• Maintaining accurate records of customer and referral engagements within BaptistCare's CRM.
• Building relationships with referral networks including general practitioners, hospitals, public health networks, healthcare institutions and community organisations.
• Attending and making presentations at relevant expos, conferences and community events to promote BaptistCare.
• Contributing ideas that continually improve the customer experience
