Job summary

dnata catering & retail in Melbourne is seeking a dedicated Customer Delivery Driver to join our airside operations team. You will be the face of the company on the tarmac, delivering timely catering services to flights and coordinating with Cabin Crew for smooth handovers.

The role requires a current MR or HR licence, full working rights in Australia, and availability for shift work including weekends and public holidays. Training and development are supported throughout your career with us.

Qualifications

• Full ongoing working rights in Australia.
• Ability to pass pre-employment checks, incl. National Police Check and medical assessment.
• MR or HR driver’s license.
• Availability to work shifts (including weekends and public holidays).
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Sound numeracy skills for accurate documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Operate hi-lift trucks to safely service aircraft catering and on-time delivery.
• Short-distance driving, basic vehicle checks and refuelling as required.
• Load and unload aircraft catering, carts, ovens, and follow up on discrepancies.
• Position and guide trucks in line with airport, airline and company procedures.
• Communicate and coordinate with Cabin Crew for accurate service handover.
• Complete administrative documentation, reporting and general cleaning duties as required.

A day in the life of a Customer Delivery Driver

Join our Melbourne team as a full-time member of our airside operations team and become the face of dnata catering & retail on the tarmac. In this hands-on role you will act as the key link between dnata and Cabin Crew, working closely to ensure a smooth, accurate handover and that every flight is fully and correctly catered. Key responsibilities include:

• Operating hi-lift trucks to safely and on-time service aircraft catering.
• Short-distance driving, basic vehicle checks, and refuelling as required.
• Loading and unloading aircraft catering, carts, and ovens, and following up on any discrepancies.
• Positioning and guiding trucks in line with airport, airline, and company procedures.
• Communicating and coordinating with Cabin Crew for accurate service handover.
• Administrative documentation, reporting, and general cleaning duties as required.

About You
