Commonwealth Bank in Melbourne's East network is seeking expressions of interest for a Customer Banking Specialist. We offer part-time and full-time opportunities across our East Melbourne branches, with an interview day scheduled in October.

In this role you will have in-depth conversations with customers about banking needs, including Home Loans, Business Banking and Financial Advice, assist with account maintenance and credit applications, and demonstrate our digital banking solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering exceptional customer service, ideally within Financial Services, Retail or Hospitality.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate financial concepts clearly.
• Able to ask the right questions, identify solutions and place the customer at the centre of everything you do.
• Thrives in a busy, commercial, customer‑focused environment while seeing the bigger picture for customers.

Responsibilities

• Have in-depth conversations with every customer about how we can support their overall banking needs, including Home Loans, Business Banking and Financial Advice.
• Support customers with enquiries, account maintenance and applications for credit products.
• Provide options for customers through education and demonstration of our in-branch technology and digital banking solutions.
• Problem solve and provide effective solutions whilst championing our processes, procedures and strong risk culture.
