Job summary

Northern Health is seeking an Instrument Technician Grade 2 to join the Central Sterilisation Services Department (CSSD) on a part-time ongoing basis. The role requires a team player with flexibility to work across Northern Health campuses and a commitment to maintaining sterile services to a high standard.

You will follow standard processes for cleaning, disinfecting, packing, sterilising, storage and dispatching of sterile reusable medical devices, and you will apply knowledge of AS5369:2023

Qualifications

• Knowledge of AS5369:2023.
• Willing to learn NH CSSD policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follow NH CSSD policy and procedures for cleaning, disinfecting, packing, sterilising, storage and dispatching of sterile reusable medical devices
• Be flexible to work across NH campuses and as part of a team
