Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning, disinfection and sterilisation of reusable medical devices per AS 5369:2023.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Commitment to patient safety and quality improvement.
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and support junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, disinfection and sterilisation of reusable medical devices per AS 5369:2023.
• Conduct regular quality assurance checks and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with theatre staff to ensure timely delivery of reusable medical devices.
• Support change management processes under CSSD leadership.
• Provide learning and support to junior staff.
• Demonstrate basic computer skills and accurate record keeping.
