AA Appointments in Melbourne is seeking a Cruise Travel Consultant to manage the customer journey from first enquiry to departure, offering expert advice and superior service. You will quote, book and coordinate ocean and river cruises, organise flights and accommodations, and handle enquiries across multiple channels.

Qualifications

• Previous travel consulting experience is a must.
• GDS experience is essential (Sabre, Galileo or Amadeus).
• Strong customer service and sales skills.

Responsabilités

• Consult with customers to understand travel plans, preferences and budgets.
• Recommend cruise lines, ships, itineraries and packages.
• Quote and book ocean, river and other cruises.
• Arrange flights, accommodation and travel components.
• Manage enquiries via phone, email and in person.
• Upsell and cross-sell to maximise sales opportunities.
• Work towards individual and team sales targets and KPIs.
• Handle booking administration, invoicing and amendments accurately.
• Build knowledge of cruise lines, destinations and products.
• Develop long-term relationships that generate repeat business.

THE ROLE

As a Cruise Travel Consultant, you'll manage the customer journey from the initial enquiry right through to departure, providing expert advice and exceptional service along the way.

• Consulting with customers to understand their travel plans, preferences and budgets
• Recommending the right cruise lines, ships, itineraries and packages
• Quoting and booking ocean, river and other cruise holidays
• Arranging flights, accommodation and additional travel components
• Managing enquiries across phone, email and face-to-face channels
• Maximising sales opportunities through upselling and cross-selling
• Working towards individual and team sales targets and KPIs
• Managing booking administration, invoicing and amendments accurately
• Building your knowledge of cruise lines, destinations and new products
• Creating long‑term customer relationships that generate repeat and referral business

• Strong customer service and sales skills
• Previous travel consulting experience is a must
