As we continue to grow, we are looking for multiple experienced and dedicated Crowd Controllers to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and Manage Crowd Behaviour: Ensure the safety and order of patrons at events and venues by observing and regulating crowd activities. Identify and address potential safety hazards, disruptive behaviour, and any situations that could escal­ate.
• Conduct Security Checks: Perform thorough security checks at entry points to control access. This includes inspecting bags, using metal detectors, and verifying tickets or credentials.
• Respond to Incidents and Emergencies: Act quickly and efficiently to handle incidents, emergencies, and disturbances. Provide first aid if necessary, and coordinate with emergency services to ensure swift and effective responses.
• Liaise with Event Staff and Management: Communicate effectively with event organizers, venue management, and other security personnel to ensure smooth operations and address any security concerns.
• Provide Clear Instructions to Patrons: Offer clear, calm, and authoritative instructions to patrons during various situations, such as evacuations, re‑directions, or general inquiries.
• Enforce Venue Policies and Regulations: Ensure all patrons adhere to the venue's rules and regulations. This includes managing entry and exit points, controlling access to restricted areas, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Complete Incident Reports: Document all incidents, emergencies, and any notable events in detailed reports.
• Maintain accurate records of activities to provide a comprehensive account for management and law enforcement if required.

Requirements

• Current Valid Crowd Controller license and at least Certificate I in Security Operations.
• Proven experience in crowd control or a related security role for at least 1 year (NT experience desirable).
• Strong observational and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• First Aid and CPR certification is mandatory.
• Experience working at large events or in high‑capacity venues; conflict resolution and de‑escalation training desirable.
