Job summary

Matakåta Hire & Events specialise in the installation of large marquees, lighting, furniture and styling for weddings, events, and festivals across NSW. We are looking for hard-working, ultra-reliable and fun individuals to join our teams for the huge pipeline of work we have ahead. Full training will be provided.

Heavy lifting involved. Need to be physically fit. This is casual work with plenty of hours and weekend shifts; rosters are provided and there is travel to great locations around

Qualifications

• Must have current NSW Medium-Rigid license.
• Experience driving small trucks and trailers long distances.
• Available to work weekends.
• Based on or near the Central Coast or willing to travel for early starts.
• Must pass police check.
• Must have ABN.
• Casual hours with probationary period; potential to become permanent.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy lifting as part of event setups.
• Drive trucks and trailers to venues across NSW.
• Work on weekends and varied rosters; travel to outdoor locations.
• Assist with tent erection, rigging and event setup when required.

Job description

Matakåta Hire & Events specialise in the installation of large marquees, lighting, furniture and styling for weddings, events, and festivals across NSW.

We are looking for hard-working, ultra-reliable and fun individuals to join our teams for the huge pipeline of work we have ahead. Full training will be provided. Heavy lifting involved. Need to be physically fit.

This person must have minimum Medium-Rigid Drivers License to be able to drive our trucks.

Plenty of casual hours available initially. Potential to made permanent for the right candidate in the right circumstances. Award rate based on experience. Probationary period applies.

Please note, this is not a 9-5! Days and times vary across jobs and weekend work will be expected however rosters will be provided, allowing successful applicants time to plan leisure time in and around the job. There is plenty of travelling to amazing locations around Sydney and the opportunity to work in the great outdoors.

Other requirements:
