Job summary

Social Event Hire in Southport, Queensland is seeking LR, MR or HR licensed drivers to assist with onsite installation, setting up and removal of event hire furniture, and driving hire stock from warehouse to event sites.

We operate 7 days a week and welcome people looking for secondary work, weekend shifts, or a few days across the week; no full-time Monday–Friday commitment. Training is provided and safety is our priority.

Qualifications

• Must hold LR, MR or HR license.
• Familiar with SEQ & Brisbane area.
• Ability to get to and from work in Southport.

Social Event Hire is one of Queensland's premium event hire companies servicing some of SEQ major Events, Parties and Weddings. We are in need of Active & Positive people to join our teamand assist with installing simple event hire equipment.

We are currently seeking LR, MR or HR Licensed Drivers to help with:

Onsite Installation, setting up and removal of event hire furniture.

Driving and delivering of hire stock from warehouse to various event sites.

Warehouse work and loading trucks in preparation for events.

Picking, packing and loading orders to go out. Cleaning and putting orders away post event.

Based in Southport, we operate 7 days a week and can accommodate individuals looking for secondary work / side hustle work. We are open to individuals working a few days a week, lots of a days a week or just weekend work to supplement another job or studies. We are very open minded and flexible, and in return are looking for like minded individuals who can offer flexibility.

This is a great way of seeing the Queensland's events industry in action, keeping fit and active whilst earning good money.

What you can bring to the role:

Need to be a team player, work autonomously and offer flexibility.

Familiar with SEQ & Brisbane area.

Ability to get to and from work in Southport.

Industry or trade experience is highly regarded, females are encouraged to apply.

The events industry is fast paced and ever changing, we require little experience as we like to think our job is pretty easy going, all training provided on the job - any experience is a bonus!
