Job description

Party Hire Group is looking at hiring additional drivers to join our busy logistics team delivering and setting up at events across Sydney. We specialise in furniture hire, staging, marquees, sound and lighting and more. Located in Auburn, we provide equipment for corporate events, birthday parties, weddings, festivals, sporting events, concerts and more.

We currently have vacancies for full time roles Monday to Friday, as well as casual positions on Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We are seeking staff that have a valid drivers licence. We have small trucks under 4.5 tonne which can be driven on a car licence. We are also taking drivers with MR licence or higher for our larger MR trucks, and the pay rate is higher If you have an MR licence.

The role involves you driving and going out with 1 or two offsiders to deliver and set up the days events. The role is very straight forward and full training is also provided so you don't need to have prior experience. You must be capable of physical lifting as alot of the equipment is hand loaded in and out of the truck and transported on trolleys.

We have plenty of overtime for those that want it. The team are friendly and it is a fun environment to work in. You must be able to speak a decent level of English and be able to communicate with customers and other staff members.

We are looking at hiring addition team members asap. Please send a resume and short listed candidates must be available for an interview in the next week with a view to start asap.
