Job summary

Twilight Event Hire delivers marquees, flooring, furniture, glamping tents and event infrastructure to weddings, festivals and major events across Victoria and interstate. Regular casual hours during the busy event season and a mix of driving, forklift and hands-on work.

Travel throughout Victoria and interstate with a variety of vehicles and equipment, joining event crews on site and supporting setup and pack-down as required.

Qualifications

• MR/HR truck licences required
• Forklift licence or experience preferred
• White Card required
• Physical fitness for manual handling
• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew

Responsibilities

• Drive MR and/or HR trucks to event sites across Victoria
• Load and unload event equipment
• Operate forklifts in warehouse and on event sites
• Load trucks safely and efficiently
• Secure loads for transport
• Complete vehicle and equipment checks
• Assist with warehouse operations
• Deliver and collect equipment from event sites
• Assist event crews with setup and pack-down when required

Job description

This is a varied, hands-on role combining truck driving, forklift operation, loading and unloading, warehouse work and assisting event crews on site. Depending on your licences and experience, you will deliver marquees, flooring, furniture, glamping tents and event infrastructure to weddings, festivals and major events across Victoria and interstate.

Key responsibilities

Driving MR and/or HR trucks to event sites across Victoria

Loading and unloading event equipment

Operating forklifts in warehouse and on event sites

Loading trucks safely and efficiently

Securing loads for transport

Completing vehicle and equipment checks

Assisting with warehouse operations

Delivering and collecting equipment from event sites

Assisting event crews with setup and pack-down when required

About you

Reliable and punctual

Confident driving larger vehicles

Safety focused

Physically fit and comfortable with manual work

Comfortable working independently and as part of a crew

Able to work flexible hours depending on event schedules

Careful with vehicles, equipment and customer property

MR Truck Licence, HR Truck Licence, Forklift Licence, or experience operating forklifts

Experience driving curtain-side trucks, with tail lifts, securing and restraining loads, or towing trailers
