Job summary

Bendigo Bank is seeking a technical data specialist to own end-to-end credit risk data extraction, collation, and preparation across Business, Agribusiness, and Consumer portfolios. You will consolidate data from multiple source systems into a unified dataset and build a Power BI semantic model to support risk reporting.

You will contribute to continuous improvements and align with the Central Data and Projects Lead on strategic initiatives, with a hybrid work setup across Melbourne, Bendigo,

Qualifications

• Hands-on data engineering experience in SAS, BigQuery and Power BI
• Strong SQL skills (Oracle SQL a plus) and data modelling knowledge
• Experience with banking data and credit risk data pipelines is a plus

Responsibilities

• Monthly processes: run credit risk data pipelines and compile datasets in SAS environment
• Build and maintain a Power BI semantic model used for credit risk reporting
• Collaborate on data projects and database enhancements with data & projects leads
