Job summary

SG Fleet is seeking an experienced Credit Assessors to assess novated credit applications against policy, gather and review information, and liaise with Novated Sales Consultants for clarity. You will build strong internal relationships to support credit decisions and contribute to portfolio reporting.

The role requires degree-level qualifications in business or related fields, understanding of credit frameworks, and solid analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Degree level or appropriate qualification in Business related discipline, preferably in accounting and/or banking.
• A sound understanding and demonstrated experience with credit frameworks and policies.
• Good communication (written and verbal) and stakeholder management skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic credit underwriting skills.
• Working knowledge of legal documentation and applicable legal business codes.
• Good technical/numerical skills including critical analysis and problem solving.
• Strong discipline and adherence to processes.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Strong competency with MS Office Suite.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise workload appropriately.
• Basic business acumen and commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess prospective customer applications in line with group credit policy.
• Assess prospective customer applications, determining where further information / clarity is required and liaise relevant Novated Sales Consultants such information.
• Build relationships with internal customers to support their understanding of the credit decision process.
• Contribute to ongoing portfolio reporting.
• Approve credit applications as per granted delegated authority.
• Document processes within the SG Fleet process mapping system where and when required.
• Undertake manual KYC customer verification where and when required.
• Recharge and relax with up to 4 days of wellness days every year.
