Michael Page is partnering with a leading global financial services organization in Australia to recruit a Commercial Credit Analyst. You will assess, structure, and manage commercial credit exposures, contributing to business growth and sound risk management.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline.
  • Experience in credit analysis, underwriting, lending, banking, risk assessment or financial analysis.
  • Strong ability to interpret financial information and assess risk.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • A proactive, self-motivated and accountable approach.

Responsibilities

  • Assessing and underwriting commercial credit applications.
  • Analysing financial statements, cash flow and customer performance.
  • Preparing detailed credit submissions, risk assessments and recommendations.
  • Managing dealer and customer relationships within a commercial finance environment.
  • Monitoring borrower performance and establishing appropriate credit limits.
  • Supporting collections and risk mitigation strategies where required.
  • Preparing and negotiating credit documentation and lending agreements.
  • Identifying opportunities to support new and existing business growth.
  • Contributing to process improvement initiatives, including digital and automation solutions.
  • Producing portfolio insights, reporting and risk trend analysis.
  • Supporting and collaborating with team members across the broader credit function.
