Cheek Cafe on the Gold Coast is seeking a talented Chef to join our vibrant hospitality team. You will deliver exceptional culinary experiences, cook high-quality dishes, and lead a busy kitchen in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a culinary qualification, proven Chef experience, strong food safety knowledge, and excellent leadership and communication skills to supervise staff and drive menu innovation.

Competenze

• Culinary qualification from a recognised institution.
• Proven experience as a Chef in a similar role in hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Excellent culinary skills with a passion for innovative dishes.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to manage kitchen staff.

Mansioni

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with the menu and customer preferences.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets required standards.
• Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, food safety, and hygiene practices.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new recipes and menu items.
• Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to culinary standards.
• Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment, reporting any issues to management.
• Assist in the planning and execution of special events and catering services.
