The Clock Hotel in Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast, is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead our busy bistro-style kitchen. This hands-on role offers the chance to manage a team of up to 10 chefs and cooks, drive menu development, and deliver high-volume service with flair.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as Head Chef.
• Lead and manage a team of up to 10 chefs and cooks.
• Excellent communicator and team leader.
• Strong staff management and organisational skills.
• Experience training apprentices and junior chefs.
• Experience with cocktail functions and events.
• Experience in high-volume cooking and service.
• Experience with ordering, stock control and stocktaking.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Positive, energetic and enjoys having fun at work.

The Clock Hotel is looking for a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen team at our bistro-style restaurant in the heart of Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on chef who enjoys leading a team, creating great food and being part of a fun and energetic hospitality environment.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Head Chef
• Can confidently lead and manage a team of up to 10 chefs and cooks
