Job summary

The Rosey Pub in Rosedale, VIC seeks an experienced chef(s) to join our culinary team on a full-time or part-time basis. Based in Rosedale, you will help deliver exceptional dining experiences while contributing to menu development and high kitchen standards.

You will work in a supportive kitchen environment with opportunities for professional culinary training and flexible scheduling where possible. Collaboration with front-of-house staff will ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience as a professional chef.
• Based in VIC, Australia or eligible to work there.
• Willingness to work full-time or part-time shifts.
• Knowledge of HACCP and general food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and plate dishes to the highest standard, ensuring consistency across all menu items.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment per health and safety regulations.
• Contribute to menu development and seasonal specials with creative ideas.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff for smooth service and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain compliance with food safety and hygiene standards including HACCP principles.
• Prepare and execute special events and functions as required.
