Job summary

Next Generation Health & Lifestyle Club in Ryde is seeking a qualified Chef or Cook to join on a casual basis. You will work with the Food & Beverage team to ensure kitchen operations stay within budgets while upholding food hygiene and safety standards.

The role requires a 7-day roster with flexible hours; hours may be adjusted and growth opportunities across Australia and New Zealand are available for the right candidate. We value your input and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery is desirable but not essential.
• Experience and a positive attitude are valued.
• Enthusiastic and passionate about food.
• Team player and hands-on approach.
• Restaurant and banquet food preparation or willingness to learn.
• Ability to multi task and work in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to maintain kitchen hygiene protocols such as HACCP.
• Proven track record of collaborating within a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the kitchen operates within its budgets and maintains food hygiene.
• Maintain health and safety compliance at all times.
• Work across a 7-day roster with flexible hours and potential for growth.
• Collaborate with the Food & Beverage team and contribute to service delivery.
